We’re excited to bring back our annual Holiday Gift Guide, sharing all types of special products to you over the next few weeks. In this year’s guide, you’ll find some of our favorite treasures for everyone- friends, family, co-workers, near-strangers, and most importantly, yourself! All of the shops or products featured are mindfully created in support of women+ and other marginalized genders.
As many of us continue to spend more time at home (and have integrated work in our homes) we’re starting with Home & Office! If you need something to help a hard-to-shop-for sibling cozy up at home, or a DIY project for a crafty co-worker, we got you!
Here are some of our FAVORITE places to shop online and we’ve got a few favorite items we’ve picked out as well.
It’s that time of year where we’re all dreaming of a little hygge, and nothing screams hygge more than curling up with a gorgeous cup of tea. Even better when that tea comes from a small shop with a community-driven focus. April Jackson launched The Black Leaf Tea & Culture Shop in April 2019, building up a business that sells unique, custom-designed blends as well as creating a space for young Black professionals to come together as a community.
OUR PICK: Me Time Box $40
Give the gift of Me-Time! For yourself or a friend that could use some serenity. Pour yourself a cup of tea and make the most of your Me-Time! This box includes:
- 1 ESW Beauty Raw Juice Mask
- 1 Regular size bag of Woosah tea blend

When we’re on a mission for a one-of-a-kind gift for someone special, Knack gifts are our go-to! These gift boxes are carefully curated with high-end products from small businesses and skilled artisans for every occasion and every recipient. We love that the founder and CEO, Laura Jennings, is on a mission to give back, partnering with organizations like One Tree Planted and Black Girls CODE. Impressing your gift recipient with awesome goodies, supporting small businesses, and making an impact? That’s what we call a win-win-win.
Our Pick: Gaming the System $99
Unplug, unwind, and get ready to game with this fun gift set full of puzzles, games, and delicious snacks. The gift includes a chipboard jigsaw puzzle in a vibrant modern print, a colorful beechwood and elastic robot puzzle, a brightly colored deck of playing cards, an after dinner game, and a music trivia game. Gifting a craft kit isn’t just a way to help your friends, families, and colleagues make awesome stuff, crafting can actually help stimulate the release of dopamine! What better way to tell someone you some love them than by giving them something to help improve their mental health? We love the gorgeous digital watercolor images on simple, easy to make, sew-your-own dolls. According to the maker, Maritere, they are perfect for beginners, either for machine sewing or hand sewing. These fabrics feature women of color (i.e., WOC, Black, Latina, Indigenous, and AAPI) that have had an impact on our history and/or culture.
Our Pick: Cut and Sew DOLORES HUERTA Doll $20

While we’re talking crafting, let’s talk cross-stitch. Junebug and Darlin has great prices for unique, boldly feminist, and beautiful downloadable PDF patterns. Why not gift someone a cross stitch starter set, or even hand-make some gifts yourself? We love the mission as written on the Etsy shop: “[Zoe] believes that art should be useful, crafting should be for everyone and, above all, everything should have a queer agenda. She combines nature, queerness and good ol’ f the system attitudes to make her artistic endeavors what they are today and is always scheming up ways to incorporate her drawings into needlework.” We’re on board!

If you’ve listened to a podcast this year, odds are, you’ve heard an ad for Parachute Home products. Founder Ariel Kaye started the brand with the intention of bringing more comfort to your world through premium, accessible essentials. We love the variety of products, sizes, and high-quality materials. The perfect gifts for the bougie friends on your list!
If you’re looking for the perfect gift for anyone from someone living on their own for the first time to a seasoned home-chef, Our Place has just the thing. They’ve really nailed the essentials of non-stick cookware, and you might have missed the important goals in the founding of the company. Led by Shiza Shahid, cofounder of The Malala Fund, she started Our Place as ” a majority founding team of immigrants, finding our place in America by cooking and sharing food with our new communities. That’s the power of home-cooking – it is at the root of connection, love, identity, culture, and belonging. The name Our Place roots us in our mission and values, and holds us accountable to working on the big questions: Is it Our Place to speak up? Is it Our Place to change things for the better? How can this Place be Ours if we don’t work to create a more inclusive, just world? If these are the types of questions you find yourself asking as well, we’ll see you at Our Place.”
