Online Course: Unconscious Bias in the Workplace
Have you ever wanted to learn about how unconscious bias plays out in the workplace? What that term really means? What terms such as diversity, equity, and inclusion mean? We've taken the foundations of our in-person workshops and have created a unique, interactive, and engaging experience that not only provides you with the fundamental knowledge to help you gain a greater understanding of difference at work, but will also provide you with ways to address unconscious bias, all on your own time. This five module course can be taken at your own pace, and will include a monthly Ask Me Anything (AMA) webinar with an expert facilitator.
You'll have access to this course for one year and can attend as many monthly AMA webinars as you like!

In module one, we'll cover some of the foundations around DEI or diversity, equity and inclusion. We'll also talk about unconscious bias and how it shows up and cover some key topics such as intersectionality and their own identity groups.
In module two, we'll take a deep dive into unconscious bias. We'll talk about what it is and how it manifests, and also talk about specific types of biases and how they show up in the workplace.
In module three, we'll take a look at some of the research that surrounds unconscious bias and how it shows up, not only to give you a better sense of what the grounding is, but also to provide a scientific context for the work.
In module four, we'll provide some real world examples by talking with some people who have experienced unconscious bias firsthand. We'll also be inviting you to join the conversation and share any of your experiences that you may have had as well as ask questions.
In module five, our last module together, we'll invite you to create your own personalized action plan where you can reflect on everything that you've learned over the previous four modules and apply that learning to your own life, especially at work, whether it's the next day, the next month, or the next year after you're finished with us.
